Lakawon Island

Lakawon Island Resort is a White Island Beach Resort in Cadiz City, Negros Occidental, Philippines. It is accessible by a 25-minute banca ride from Cadiz Viejo, 48 kilometers from Bacolod.

Rimmed by white sand beaches, coral reefs and studded with coconut and talisay trees, the nine-hectare island resort offers tourist lodges, tents, shed houses and other facilities.

Its waters are ideal for snorkeling and other water sports.

GETTING THERE


Lakawon Island Resort is situated in Cadiz City, north of Negros Occidental. It is a 15 minute boat ride (small motorized boat or banca) from Cadiz Viejo.

To reach the Resort from Bacolod City (Negros Occidental’s capital & main city), take a 45 minutes bus trip to Kaduha-an in Cadiz City.

From Kaduha-an take a tricycle (motorcycle with sidecar) to Cadiz Viejo. The trip will take 15 minutes.

From Cadiz Viejo, small motorized boats (or banca’s) will be waiting to take you to Lakawon Island Resort. Trip by motorized boat will be approximately 15 minutes.

It will take 1 hour from Bacolod City to Lakawon Island Resort using private vehicles.
